The headline for me: Disney is finally returning to New York City—and it’s bringing the Disney Wish.
The seven-voyage season marks the first time a Wish-class ship will sail from New York. After spending summer 2027 in Europe, Wish arrives in Manhattan in late September for Bermuda, Canada and New England cruises.
I have a particular soft spot for this news. My first cruise was a Halloween on the High Seas sailing from Manhattan to Bermuda in 2022. Sailing past the Statue of Liberty on a Disney ship remains one of my favorite cruise memories.
New York highlights
There are seven Wish sailings between September 29 and November 5, including*:
- 4-night Bermuda, Sept. 29: two days at King’s Wharf. Verandah from $4,814; Concierge from $8,934.
- 5-night Canada/New England, Oct. 3: Saint John and Boston. Verandah from $5,215; Concierge from $10,305.
- 6-night Bermuda + Canada, Oct. 8: Bermuda and Halifax. Verandah from $6,697; Concierge from $12,817.
- 5-night Bermuda, Oct. 14 & 19: Verandah from $5,805; Concierge from $11,190.
- 7-night Canada, Oct. 24: Prince Edward Island, Sydney and Halifax. Verandah from $7,038; Concierge from $14,136.
*Prices are current starting totals for two adults, including taxes and fees, and will change as inventory sells.
West Coast sailings & Panama Canal crossings
Disney Magic gets perhaps the most interesting itineraries of the release: two 14-night repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal between San Diego and Galveston. The eastbound sailing makes Disney Magic’s maiden call at Fuerte Amador, near Panama City; the westbound crossing adds a maiden call at Colón.
Disney is also doubling up in San Diego, with both Magic and Wonder sailing Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries in fall 2027 before Wonder continues its California season. The familiar four-night, one-way Pacific Coast cruises between Vancouver and San Diego are back as well.
